CHUM FOOD SHELF open Mondays 11 am - 1 pm at Faith Lutheran, 51st Ave. E. and Glenwood St., Duluth. Volunteers are needed to assist clients. Contact the French River Lutheran office for details.

Order for Healing Service: Typically the third Sunday of the month with blood pressure checks provided during first twenty minutes of coffee fellowship time.

If public schools are closed due to weather conditions, so are church activities.

We continually collect toothbrushes and bandaids for the El Salvador Mission of Healing/Family Wellness Fair.  Please deposit them in the labeled box in the narthex.

CHUM Food Shelf has asked French River Lutheran to be the "Ramen Chicken Noodle Soup" church.  This means they'd like us to contribute 100 packages, or the monetary equivalent, per month to the food shelf.  Be sure to indicate "for CHUM-Ramen soup" on the memo line of a check or on a special giving envelope when donating.
CHUM also encourages the use of reusable bags (vs. plastic grocery bags) by those who donate non-perishables and those who receive them.  Bag donations may be left near the wicker baskets in the narthex.  Thank you!

An Adult Bible Study/Bring Your Own Bible (ABS/BYOB) group is starting this month! Meets Mondays at 7:00 PM at various locations. Contact the office for details.

Click on Pr. Mark's photo to hear sermons, entire services, or selected pieces of music!  Thanks to Ray Johnson for this service.

It’s time for fun and games on February 23!  Save the date for Fat Sunday/Family Game Night in the Fellowship Hall, 6:00-8:00 p.m.  The Hospitality Committee will provide popcorn, beverages, and games/activities for all ages.  You are also welcome to bring your favorite games and a tasty snack to share.  Extend this invitation to others!

Lent begins with an Ash Wednesday service, Feb. 26, 7:00 PM.
